Head Coach: Antonio Merlo

Water Polo History: Antonio played in the National Water Polo League in Italy from 1980 to 1987 after playing in the Under 16 and Under 18 Junior Leagues between 1975 and 1981. In the US, he played for two Masters teams (Nordics in Minneapolis 1996-1998 and NYAC in New York 1998-1999). He was also Assistant Coach at the University of Minnesota (1997-1998) and Coach at NYU (1998-2000), before becoming Penn’s coach in 2008.

Penn Affiliation: Antonio is the Lawrence R. Klein Professor and Chair of Economics, and the Director of the Penn Institute for Economic Research at the University of Pennsylvania.
